Grasmere Sports has been in existence for at least 157 years. The original book celebrating 150 years of the Sports events is now out of print.An updated has now been split into 2 volumes to facilitate the adding of results each year. These 2 volumes will soon be on sale as Grasmere Sports - The History, and 'Grasmere Sports Results from 1852'. As well as results, there are profiles of well known participants; over 400 photographs in black and white, dating from the first known picture taken in 1872 by William Baldry, together with a complete list of winners in all events at the back of both books. The books are softback A4 size.
